Is the variety which gives resistance to the wines in the dry white wines range. In Pietroasa, it is very well represented through the sensorial features which are specific to it. The young wine has a white-greenish colour, neutral character, fresh taste but with an agreeable acidity, more balanced than in other regions. A slight maturation is recommended, the wine providing the consumer with an agreeable, challenging bouquet with mineral touches. The wine extractivity, its “stone character” gives the Riesling form Pietroasa class and sobriety among the dry white wines.
