Is the “emblem wine” of the Pietroasa Viticultural Centre. As a natural sweet wine, it is a praise to the microclimate it originates from. The young wine has a complex aroma of linden flowers and field flower, of basil, rose and freshly cut hey, which is highly persistent. Through maturation in wooden recipients, the colour turns from yellow-greenish to golden; as the years pass, it appears to acquire the old gold patina. The aroma changes its character, too. The wine acquires olfactory nuances which suggest the smell of honey, raisins and almonds. Associated with nuts, almonds and traditional sweets, the Tamaioasa wine ennobles the meals. Through its bouquet, corpulence and unctuousness, this wine is a joy to the soul.
